Energy System Operator Apprentice
Heber Light & Power is accepting applications for an ENERGY SYSTEM OPERATOR APPRENTICE.
Duties include participating in a four-year apprenticeship program and on-the-job training to become an Energy System Operator.
This role provides 24/7/365 coverage to the dispatch desk. The successful candidate will work a schedule that rotates days and nights, including weekends, holidays and some overtime.

What does it take to be successful in this position? The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree or college level math, writing, and computer skills; previous dispatch experience or knowledge of electrical power generation and distribution.
